Do these HAVE to be used from your home departing city? I picked up my voucher today and they said it's good for flights from O'Hare. I'd like to give it to a family member who lives in another city, but if they cannot use it for a roundtrip flight, I'll just keep it for myself. Thanks!

btw, there were PLENTY to give away today in Chicago. I left at 12:30. It was dead in the parking lot but the Spirit crew still had at least a hundred vouchers.

I went to the one in Chicago also today. I know there is only a few cities left where this is happening but I would like to give a heads up to anyone planning on going. We were told today that you only have 30 days after the miles deposit in your account to make a booking. Also the mileage needed to book an award ticket is higher unless you have a spirit mastercard. It seems like there is not many dates avail for standard travel which will make it difficult to book a r/t ticket for free. Their cc is free for the first year so I may end up applying for it to get another 15,000 miles and have the ability to book at the lower mileage rate.

Complete worthless. I cannot even book the days I want. Oakland to Las Vegas is 15,000 miles one way. So pretty much if I do use this points on a random day, I'll be saving myself $150.

Has anyone who picked up the certificate in Chicago on June 2nd/3rd gotten their miles posted to the account yet? Mine still says zero. I'm not sure if it's because it's a Sunday or it's too soon.

I was wondering the same thing. I picked up my certificate in Detroit though and it stated that the miles would show up in my account July 1st however mine displays zero miles as well.

I picked up 4 certificates with my family on June 2nd (Saturday). Then I picked up couple more on Sunday for couple of my relatives on June 3rd (Sunday). I registered my certs on Sunday, June 3rd. I see no mileage. The relatives registered on the following Saturday or so, they see the mileage in their accounts! Another weird thing was that after registering, I did not receive any email welcoming me to Spirit club. However, the relatives did. I am wondering if my registration even went through even though I did register! I have sent them an email wondering about this. Let's see what they say.

I picked up a voucher at one of the Illinois locations and my miles haven't posted. I contacted customer service and got a reply back asking for my voucher number... only problem is that I threw out the voucher since the website confirmed my submission when I entered it. Anything I can do or did Spirit effectively just screw me out of my 20,000 miles?

I received the same reply. Fortunately, I have those numbers saved. I sent them those and now the customer service says to wait 45 days. Funny thing is that some people who registered a week after me already got their miles credited! I also thought that we were supposed to book in month of July. I am not sure if I will be getting my miles.
