This is not expensive by any means , Most flagship models from other companies are 1000+.
Can you imagine paying over 100K for a car ?
Or 3K on a suit ? or 2k for a pair of shoes? , ......

To weigh in: No, I can not imagine the above things. Though I agree these are great headphones, they actually ARE expensive. Overpriced, no. As expensive as other comparable headphones, no. But expensive, yes. nod
