I just got this and I love it. I heard it was better than the never-kink hose.

Pair this up with a fireman hose nozzle!

Cue the arguments about "it kinks too much" vs "you're crazy, it never kinks"; "it's too heavy"; "it turns my hands black" vs "wtf are you talking about. that never happens to me"; etc etc.

I have 2 of these hoses and I use them for my business everyday they just work do not buy the neverkink hose its garbage. If you dont want it to kink put a shutoff valve at the end as long as its under pressure it wont kink.

Picked up and hooked up this hose yesterday. I agree with the general consensus on SD - this hose is really nice, especially for $20 or less.

I was able to pick up this hose today at $19.99.

I believe the price is only good at Sears Hometown & Hardware stores. The full-line Sears stores I called today told me the price was $34.99 when I gave them the item #.

Went down to Sears (without calling to ask/verify). They had a sign that said $19.99 for [rewards] members. Took it to the cash register where it rung up at 34.99. I lead the person ringing me up to the display. He took off the sign and took it back to ring me up at that price. He had to get an override from somebody. I'm curious to know if the guy left the sign off or was gonna put it back up. The sign clearly listed this hose at $19.99 with the date 04/20(?..don't remember the start date) to 4/28.

Yeah, I called two Sears full-line stores and gave them the Item #. They both said it was $34.99 in the system. Google Shopping showed it at $20.99 for the full-line stores yesterday.

At the Sears Hometown store it just rang up $19.99.

I ended up using the $10 in bonus points they gave me which expire on 04/23/12.

If you do get this, make sure to save the insert on the hose, and get an e-receipt sent to you... considering there is a Lifetime Warranty on it.

Ahhh, this may finally explain the weird phenomenon where some SD'ers say this hose kinks easily and the rest say they are crazy... pressured vs. non-pressured users.

Since they started outsourcing items, and revising "lifetime" warranties to 90 days, 1 year, 2 year, or 3 year.

I've experienced it and watched salesmen deny replacements saying "those are only covered by a 2 year warranty."

I remember they denied replacing a Craftsman Flashlight, saying they only had a 1 year warranty until I showed them the packaging that clearly stated Lifetime.

So "Lifetime" = 1 year? I don't think so...

"Watering products" sounds like sprinklers and such, but there is no explicit mention of hoses one way or another in there...

I know "Lifetime" doesn't equal 1 year.

What I'm trying to say is... they keep revising their warranties.

So if you go into a Sears and the comparable replacement product says 1 year warranty on the insert... that's what they go by unless you have proof of the original warranty.

That's why I said to have an e-receipt sent to you and save the Hose insert... or a PDF of the product page.
