How does this work? I am also seeing this ambiguous term here.
"Sony offers no cost recycling for every product we make. At this time we are unable to extend this benefit to non-Sony products. However, the following locations may be able to recycle your product for free or at a nominal cost." |

Maybe I'm just an idiot here........but I can't figure out how the trade-in works? There seems to be some stuff about determining the value.......but then it says any working laptop......I don't understand if I can mail this in or how I get the credit. I don't like these Sony VAIOs at all, but my girlfriend loves them and needs a new laptop.........if we can turn an old laptop into some money off, that might be a good thing.....

I think you would get 2x 150 ecoupons. From terms and conditions for Sony store -> "...limit of one coupon/promotion code per purchase applies."

If you are trading-in your item through a Sony Store or Sony Outlet store, and your item has been determined to have a reward value by an in-store Sony associate, immediate in-store credit or Sony Store Gift Card will be issued to you and the Sony store will be responsible for packaging and shipping your trade in product. Why stop at 2? You can buy $20 laptops on craiglist/thrift stores all day long. As long as it is functional and decent condition, the trade in works. |
