Any ideas if the version of predator is the original blu-ray telease or the cleaned-up rerelease? I'd rather have the original although grainy.
Found a link to answer my own question. This came out the same time as Predators which I think is the same time the DNR'd Ultimate Edition of Predator was released; this set includes the Ultimate Edition, so I'll have to pass. They also have the region-free X-Men Trilogy for less than $12 [amazon.co.uk]. Lots of people don't want Wolverine in the quadrilogy anyway.

I just watched Predators. It wasn't exactly a bad movie, but it certainly wasn't a good movie. It's sort of a tossup between which was weaker - this or AVP (Alien versus Predator). While AVP had a more flawed execution, this movie started from a horribly flawed concept - (possible spoiler alert but it's really obvious from the movie trailer) take a bunch of the most predatory humans and throw them into hunting preserve run by Predators. To make that kind of script work is extremely tricky - and instead we got passable. Not an entire waist of almost two hours of my life - but I am not planning on watching it again, ever.

Predator 1 and 2 were a must to my DVD collection. Now they're a must to my Blu-Ray collection and at this price...well worth it. Repped.

Love these movies. Even the craptastic one's are fun to watch.
