"About our biscuits: Our all-natural dog biscuits are lovingly handcrafted from scratch, and slow-baked to perfection in our Missouri kitchens. We use only the freshest, highest-quality human-grade ingredients, and free-range meats, poultry and eggs. Baked crunchy to aid dental hygiene and prevent tartar buildup. 100% dog approved!"
And then we made a deal and it got picked up by slickdeals. We worked 24x7 for a while filling the orders, then we started pooping in the boxes and throwing all of our trash into it, then we ran away and never came back. |

Here is your ingredient analysis from the dog food expert...
Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, rolled oats, eggs, canola oil, bacon (preserved with mixed Tocopherols, a natural source of vitamin E), cane molasses, dried parmesan cheese, vitamin C. Whole wheat flour...well...its a biscuit...something has to hold it together and make it crunchy and this is better than corn middlings. Rolled oats? Fine. Canola oil? Shitty oil but if you've eaten salad dressing or pretty much any packaged food that required oil, lately you've enjoyed it Bacon, a named expensive cheese and molasses? All good. If one of you naysayers has a biscuit thats significantly better than this, name it and point at the deal where its quite cheap, since this is an excellent biscuit and free. If you have a problem with an ingredient, name it and lay your claim to the 'problems' with it so that I may lay waste to your submission. |

The first ingredient for dog FOOD should be meat, yes, but not for treats. You shouldn't be feeding your dog a diet of dog biscuits anyway. You might wanna talk to your vet about the difference between dog food and dog treats. ![]() Last edited by Maleficent; 04-22-2012 at 10:20 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I was explaining why some people would not like these biscuits, I did not mean for anyone to misinterpret my post. It isn't corn or chocolate so it isn't the worst thing you can give a dog. I do apologize for wires getting crossed. |

Our 5 y/o shit-zoo (yes, miss-spelling intended) ate her own poo for the first 2 years or so. Haven't seen her do it lately though. Seems to be common for several dogs according to our vet. Never had to worry about my himalayan eating her own poo. And people say dogs are smarter than cats.
Btw, took all of a couple minutes using a throw-away email addy. Hopefully the SD effect doesnt change their minds about the free samples. Is there any way to rep the op using the mobile site? Last edited by SlammedNiss; 04-22-2012 at 10:46 PM.. |

Shaped/colored dog and cat foods are purely made for the owner. All that really matters for your pet is nutrition. The best treats you can give your dog are whole meat products, not carbohydrate based treats. Hell my dog's avorite treats are bok choy, dehydrated chicken strips and omega 3 fish oil pills.
