FYI, those who's dogs eat their own poop, you can try to feed them some fresh pineapple. It's supposed to make their poop taste horrible so they stop eating it. I've read that puppy mill pups or other dogs who were underfed in puppyhood are the most likely to develop the habit of eating their own poop. As for eating cat poop, that's any dog and beyond human reasoning.

I tried this but I did not notice a difference in the taste.
