thanks for clarifying, the paragraph break before the quote threw me...did a search and apparently Claude was an anthropologist and an Africanist.

I think there's probably life on other planets, but I'm not convinced that any of it's making recon missions to Earth. What purpose is served by such, worthy of the resources needed to travel the trillions of miles between star systems.
If one has to abide intolerance to be considered tolerant, then the word loses it's meaning.
