I absolutely LOVED this game. The ending was not such a huge deal, IMHO, as I did not play the first two MEs and did not have any grandiose expectations as to what the ending "should" be. That said, I was a little let down that the ending was so "blah".

I am not going to let the last 10 minutes of a game mess up the 40+ hours I spent absolutely immersed and mesmerized and loving every second of it.

The free DLC is updated ending, not alternate ending.
It is the same ending, just improved story telling.

Personally I thought the ending was fine. I'm glad it stepped away from the traditional bullshit. I really liked all of it up until the final bit with the child and the three "decisions".

They could have executed it quite a bit better, but it wasn't worth anywhere near this level of nonsense.

Im playing through ME1 right now (first time.. have had the game for years) I was planning on waiting for it to hit $20, but $30 is close enough.

The info came from Tony, who is in charge of the digital downloads on amazon. He said they have plenty of keys, so that should likely run all day. Not sure about physical inventory though.

Hmmmm.... I have enough games sitting around to be played....

Yeah, I felt that way about Arkham Asylum and never bothered with City. It wasn't that it was bad, it was more that it was just so drear. And the gameplay was good, but forgettable. I haven't really felt like replaying it ever. This might be low enough for me to bite, although I'll have to check the DRM situation. If it has securom I'm out cuz that f's up my machine everytime I'm stupid enough to try it. If it's just the ea activation like ME2, DAO, DA2, and Amalur then I'm in.

It's worth getting, mass effect trilogy has been one of the better sets of games recently. It's also worth getting ME1 and 2 though, they can both be had very cheap (Sub 20)

Going to buy this for sure. I've been borrowing my friends copy and I'm completely hooked. I'm gonna need my own copy for posterity.
