Nexus Tax now in Nevada. Is slick deals going to have to move?

seems like Nexus Tax/Amazon is going to start collecting sales tax in Nevada. Is this going to affect SD's affiliate status with amazon? Are they going to have to move outside nevada now? just curious what anyone thought about it.

I'm just interpreting this based on the article, but this is different than what happen in other states. Nevada hasn't passed a new law. It looks like the State of Nevada made the same agreement with Amazon that California & Amazon made that is set to start this September. The tax is coming and Amazon isn't going to try the same tactic like before in other states. So in short, looks like we're safe.

What does amazon's nexus have to do with Slickdeals.....nothing! Amazon is just now required to collect the sales tax in Nevada because they have a sufficient presence for business purpose (aka nexus).

Hate is a strong word... but I really really really don't like you

AFAIK, Amazon had no nexus in NY. That was one of the first states it decided to start collecting sales tax in outside of the states where it had a physical presence.
