I talked to the rebate center. They said purchasing on clearance does not make the rebate invalid. Fingers crossed! Mailed the rebate on Friday. I'll keep you posted.

I sent in the $20 rebate submission form/UPC/receipt more two weeks ago and have not received the rebate yet. Yes, I realize it's only 2 weeks, but when I submitted the $5 rebate for soda concentrate purchase, it arrived 11 days after I mailed it in.

Staples is the place to get this deal. Currently you can get a $20 Staples gift card with the purchase of the Soda Stream. So $79.99 - $25 ($25 off $75 coupon) – $20 rebate is $34.99. When adding $20 gift card (we all need more paper) brings cost down to $14.99 plus tax… Note the gift card promotion is "in store only"

This week’s ad on page 16 towards the bottom of page. Also, for those without the $25 coupon there is a coupon for 20% off which would give you $16 off. This coupon is located on the same page...

Sodastream will be doing a Superbowl ad [brandchannel.com] in February. You'd think they'll be trying to build up to that, so it's possible this won't be the last deal they offer in the next 90 days.
