Last time Gamestop had the Sharp Shooter on sale for $20 last fall, I bought it along with a nav controller. I used it to play Killzone 3 and it felt very unnatural. As you have to point to the side to turn as well as point back to aim, which is the same thing you would do with the move and nav controller on their own, except you can lay those on your lap comfortably instead of constantly lifting your arms and holding the sharpshooter pointed at the screen. In real life, soldiers don't have their gun always pointed, they rest it down in between shootings which you can do with the sharpshooter; whenever you lose focus or are distracted and point it down your character goes out of whack and you even get dizzy.
TL, DR: Bought sharpshooter, hated how uncomfortable and unnatural it is, returned even when it was $20. |

Was thinking about getting the Move Motion controller and Playstation Eye for the new Sorcery game. But have not heard a lot of good things about the Move in general, like you have to keep re-calibrating it & the room can't be too dark or camera doesn't pick up motion? Any opinions from people who actually own it?
Just to convert even with this sale is $25 for controller + $20 for camera + $5 for mounting clip = $50 Also, it kind of irks me that now that Sony is finally starting to come out with some better games for the Move, the games are "Move REQUIRED" for a number of them. Forcing us into buying the Move if we want to play the game as opposed to just making it Move compatible. Last edited by gymsock; 04-24-2012 at 12:02 PM.. |
