I have the black version of this, and love it dearly.
Lots of options for fans in the top and back, though you are stuck with the single 200mm fan up front. Holds 6 HDD's of either 2.5" or 3.5", routes much of the cabling behind the motherboard. Super easy to install 5.25" optical drives, but no 3.5" external drive On mine there is 5 USB ports on the top including one USB3 port, Firewire 400, and audio. Behind-The-Motherboard access via one side panel is priceless if you're replacing a cpu cooler with something better. It's easily better than my P180, though perhaps doesn't dampen reverberation as much [its not nearly as heavy] To combat this I have taken .99 cent mousepads, and cut/glued them to the panels. Corsair HX750 works flawlessly, cable length feels good all around. Note that its also HUGE. "Mid-tower" is a joke, its pretty much full sized. system builder, network administrator.
happy to help you build your computer from components or give you a opinion on your build; send a message. |

Great case... but $135 still is a lot of money. If I was going to spend that much I'd get an Antec P280. BTW the black version of this case is currently $120 AR. |

Is it worth 15 dollars more for white and a extra side panel? You decide! |

I paid $150 for this case last October. It's a GREAT case. It's quiet, roomy, keeps my components cool, and it has front air filters that do a very good job keeping dust out. It's got a couple flaws like you cannot shut the internal light off or use the knob without some type of controller but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a PC.

I got this case for 128 after tax in Micro Center. Its my third build. Its my favorite case so far. lots of room. I think this case will last me more than 5 years. The build quality is just great. Lots of room. I can barely see my cables run so clean. To bad the Noctua NH-D14 is taking so much space. lol. I like the white lights on the fan also. I know some people does not like it.

I recently got this case for a new build and love it.
No doubt that this thing is bigger than a traditional "mid". That being said, all of that space is put to good use on the insider. Lots of space/room makes connections/changes etc easier, while giving components plenty of space "to breathe" and fitting big video cards. The space also contributes to having good airflow and there additional options for further improving airflow (removing a portion of the HD cage, etc). Cable management is great and I have zero clutter interrupting airflow and only a couple fan wires at the bottom that I would even be deemed remotely unsightly from an aesthetic standpoint (4 wires to hook up for side fans for mesh panel). That being said, those don't even matter as I have gone with the mesh side for more airflow and to house 4 120s for superior air cooling. 5.25 drives are snap-in easy to install, as are 3.5 hard drives. SSDs or 2.5s need a couple screws. But, hey, couldn't we all use a couple screws? I paired this with a Corsair HX power supply and it is great. I can' tell you what every other case in the market has, but this one is very nice. I've generally used Antec cases in the past and like those as well (900, etc). |

im thinking about upgrading from my CM storm scout to this case in a year or so. love the idea of removing the individual 3.5" drive bays for video cards, cable management, etc. lots of cutout w/ gromets.
i like this color scheme too. torn between this and obsidian 650D. Thanks everybody!
