Fees alone would be atleast around $60ish and it can't be cheap to ship it India.
It is true though that iphones hold their value more but that doesn't mean the phone is better (that's a personal preference). Its because they only release one phone a year and there is a lot of hype around it. Android phones are released very often because there are more manufacturers making them and the specs just get better. The actual cost of an iphone or a similarly spec andorid phone is probably the same....its that hype that creates the inflated prices.
I'm actually using the Lumia 900 for the past 2 weeks, and definitely will go back to my Nexus.
The UI and UX is fluid and beautiful, but that doesnt make up the lack of apps/games.
Not to mention Google maps/Navigation runs circles around Bing Maps and Nokia Drive
I'm in the exact opposite position. Moving from ICS to 7.5 has been a dream. When I use my ICS tablets they feel clunky and unfinished. Nokia Drive works amazing on my Lumia. While it doesn't speak street names like Google Navigation it is a ton more stable. Google Navigation would crap out on me on occasion.
From an apps perspective, Android is superior. No question. However, I use my tablet to "play" with. My phone is to make calls, text, email, and social status stuff. WP crushes Android in those features IMO. I miss very few apps on WP.
To each their own. I'm perfectly happy with the WP as my phone and Android for my tablet. It marries the best of both worlds.
Yeah, that seems to be the trend with all these 'high end' Android phones. They have an inflated MSRP to start with then the bottom falls out and they end up on Cowboom in less than 6mo for a fraction of the original price. Only an idiot would pay 650 starting MSRP for One.
Interestingly, not so with iPhones, they hold their value pretty good. I purchased a 16GB 4S in November for 649 MSRP, just sold it on eGay for 685 to someone in India. After shipping and Pay-the-fees-pal I ended up getting my money back and got to use the phone for 6mo. Try that with any of these 'Droids...
As we like to say in the IT world, Iphones are great phones for the non IT people. There are many more non-IT people than there are IT people, hence the supply and demand of the Iphone hold it's value. I have to give credit to Apple for their approach. It's a great one. At the same time the creators of Android deserve credit as well for trying a different approach. If Apple is going to make one device and one device for everyone, why not make many variations to suit those who want something different and give them plenty of options.
I have the Galaxy Nexus and have had it for over 5 months, the Verizon version. It's a good phone. I bought it for $300 with plan and today they dropped it to $200 with a plan. The speakers are horrible though (low volume) so bring a headset or hook some external speakers up to it if you like to use speakerphone at all. I also cannot stand how the text and call volume are combined into one. This is part of ICS and not the phones fault though. There are probably some apps out there that work to break them up but I've tried 3 and simply live with this oversite. PM me if you know of a good one to try. As for the battery life; I've heard many complaints about it. I don't understand why. I had the A885 original Droid and it barely lasted 8-10 hours. This phone lasts well over 24 hours with a good bit of use of texting and browsing over 4g. It'll make it through your 9 hour workday just fine, and still have the alarm go off the next day without charging. I've had it last a whole weekend without charge and that's as long as I'd ever be without a charger or extra battery. If you need a bigger battery, you can always pickup the extended battery and holster straight from Samsung for ~$30.
Forget buying a sideways dock for it. They appear to be a mythical item conjured up from Imagine Island. I hear they exist but I doubt I'll ever see one.

These pillows do not hold their shape. We purchased a pair for a guest room based on a similar price about a month ago and after one weekend, they would not get into their original fluffy shape. Also, extra firm is not firm at all. Hopefully this helps anyone sitting on the fence.
Also i think that the reviewer was using them wrong- they are meant to be used on beds, not on fences like she said
