The cheapest 7770 I could find out there, but for an extra 10.00 it is a good step up from the 7750, which works for us power supply constrained users.

Anyone know whether that issue has been resolved with newer Radeon cards? Was going to wait for the factory-Overclocked 7770 version from Gigabyte, but this one is a decent deal.

Flickering sounds like a failure to maintain higher clocks.

My 5850 flickered when I had it downclock to its lowest P-State of 157/300 when I had two monitors plugged in.

When it correctly went up to P-State 2, 400/900, it ceased flickering.

I don't think you can say that there are problems with radeon cards and 2 monitors.

AMD Athlon II X4 630, 1HDD, 1DVD, 9in1Card reader, 2x2Gb of DDR3 RAM want to add 2x4Gb and replace the 4670 with something faster.

this video card needs 100W or so by itself and OEM's tend to put a barely better than needed power supply in.

I have an antec 80+ 500w and am in the market for a $150 area video card and am really considering this.

If the PSU has a 6 pin connector then it should handle this no problem. It doesn't sound like you have too many components on that PSU. I would look to upgrade to a slightly larger PSU such as a good named brand 400W in the future (better efficiency rating is enough reason to upgrade anyway), but what you have should work fine for now.
