I was in every beta and stress test from pre-purchasing and even running an i7 950 and SLI GTX-560s I had major issues in the first beta and things got better with the more betas and stress tests.

The biggest killer for my system during beta was shadows. Turning them to Low or Off usually let me play at 70-100fps while turning them to high would struggle to hold 30fps.

But yeah, they have said the betas weren't optimized so I wouldn't worry.

Thanks for the response now I wont worry at all by those 2 systems of you 2 posters they are pretty strong so I guess it wasnt optimized yet all there is is to wait thanks!

i played gw1 WAY back and i was wondering if gw2 is going to have real money market? will there be people selling gold/items and stuff like that? im kinda getting bored with diablo...

No it won't. However, one can sell items for gold and then buy money gems with that gold. Gems are bought with real cash for extra stuff in the game. So a player can't make real money from the market, but can get all the stuff that can only be bought with real money from the market.

do you need to get another key on the next round (july20) if you were on the previous beta in june?

Depends on how you got the code. The ones given away were for the last beta only. Pre purchase codes are for all betas and those will be fine.

thanks for the link, wouldnt let me register under my previous account info so had to create a new one... that sucks bc now I have to start from lvl 1 again.

True but the last 2 races that were locked before will be unlocked this beta, so at least you can try something different

I was so disappointed with the first couple betas, I charged back my purchase with my credit card. Still have the acct too but I aint paying for this crap
