For clarification, this is different from Google's own offering in that there is no sales tax and no shipping. So you can save $10-$50 or so, depending on your location.

It does NOT have a US warranty though, so you'll deal with Expansys for warranty issues as opposed to Google/Samsung for the one bought from Google.

Furthermore the version from Expansys may not be updated by Google directly, whereas the Google sold one will be. But the hardware (maguro) is the same, so you can change it to a Google sourced image (yakju, takju) on your own if that's the case.

I don't know; I bought mine from expansys-usa (the international version) partially because of the fact that they honored the 1-year warranty themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if they're doing the same thing here.

By the way, big +1 for expansys. They dropped the price to $600 after I bought mine for $660 and pricematched it when I called them. Awesome people to work with.

Why would you doubt the warranty? It's Expansys, who've been around for years and years? I used to buy from them when I lived in the UK.

In terms of warranty I'd be weary of going with Expansys. Just from looking at a couple of threads on xda that concerned folks with faulty GN handsets, it ranged anywhere between expansys taking a while to respond to claims (and if they did, telling folks it might take anywhere between 6-8 weeks to get a handset fixed) to telling some they were simply on their own and should try and deal with Samsung directly.

If you're looking to get a handset with a proper warranty attached then the google deal is your best bet (and I'd consider any extra tax and shipping the cost of having peace of mind).

Why would you doubt it. I have purchased phones from ebay and Samsung has always repaired them under warranty. Most recenrly I had an issue with charging port for Galaxy Tab purchased from ebay and had no trouble from Samsung.
