ELIGIBILITY: The Picture Paw-fect Competition (the "Contest") is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (19 years of age or older if a resident of AL or NE, and 21 or older if a resident of MS) and who own at least one dog or cat. Open to amateur photographers only; individuals who earn their primary income as a photographer are not eligible. Void outside the U.S.A. and where prohibited or restricted by law. Internet access is required to participate in this Contest. The following individuals are not eligible: employees, contractors, directors and officers of Nestlé Purina PetCare Company ("Sponsor"), its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and the Web design, advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Contest (collectively, "Contest Parties"), and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and spouse or "step" of each) of, and those living in the same households as, each such individual.

TO ENTER THE CONTEST: To enter the Contest, visit www.PureLoveForPets.com (the "Web site") between 12:00:01 p.m. ET on April 24, 2012 and 11:59:59 a.m. ET on May 31, 2012 (the "Entry Period") and follow the online instructions to complete the registration form and upload your original photo and description of the photo ("Entry" or "Entries") to the appropriate category. The dog(s) or cat(s) featured in the Entry must be owned by the individual submitting the Entry ("Entrant"). Entrants can enter each category one (1) time for up to six (6) total Entries per person/e-mail address. Each Entrant may use only one (1) e-mail address to participate in this Contest, and such e-mail address may be used by only one person, regardless of whether the e-mail address is shared by two or more people. Any Entrant who uses more than one (1) e-mail address to enter this Contest may be disqualified and any prizes won may be forfeited subject to Sponsor's sole discretion.

CONTEST ENTRY CATEGORIES: The Entry categories are:
Cat (1 cat depicted only)
Dog (1 dog depicted only)
Two Pets (Must have: 2 cats or 2 dogs, or 1 cat and 1 dog depicted)
Prettiest Eyes (color, shape)
Best Smile (smile, funny)
Cutest Couple (playful pair, best friends)
Best Hair (fluffy fur, prettiest color fur)
Best Dressed (costume, accessories)
Best Sense of Humor (funny, unexpected, cute)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Each Entrant may submit only one (1) Entry per category for a maximum of six (6) Entries into this Contest. Each photo may be used as an Entry for more than one category, if applicable. Each Entry must include the following:

A completed registration form, including your name, mailing address (no P.O. Boxes), daytime telephone number, date of birth and e-mail address.
An original photo:
Photo may not exceed 3 MB in file size.
Photo must be submitted in either .JPG, .GIF or .PNG format.
Only one (1) cat may appear in either Cat category. Only one (1) dog may appear in either
Dog category. Only two (2) pets (dogs or cats only) must be featured in either of the Two Pet categories (i.e., 2 cats, 2 dogs, or 1 cat and 1 dog).
Dogs or Cats depicted in photos must be owned by the Entrant.
Photos may not show any identifiable person (e.g., photo may show visible arm, leg, lap, silhouette or the like, but individual persons may not be identified. Pet(s) must be the featured subject.).
No logos or branded products (including Purina® brand products) are allowed in the photos.
Photo should represent the category it is submitted in.
Your pet's name: Must be 50 characters (including spaces) or fewer.
Photo Description: In English, describe your photo and support for why your Entry should win. Description must be 180 characters (including spaces) or fewer.

WINNER SELECTION: Entries for each category will be independently judged and evaluated based on the following weighted criteria:

50% Relevance to category title
Photo clearly demonstrates the Contest category title
30% Originality
Photo is innovative, creative or unexpected
20% Compelling support text

Description is related to the photo, related to the Contest category, and enhances the enjoyment of viewing the Entry

Judging will be completed on or about June 20, 2012. Subject to verification, the highest scoring Entry within each category will be declared the Grand Prize winner and the second-highest scoring Entry within each category will be declared the First Prize winner. In the event of a tie in any category, the tie will be broken based on the highest score in the first judging criteria, continuing thereafter to each judging criteria in order, as needed to break the tie. If no eligible Entry is received for any category, no prize will be awarded for that category. Winners will be announced on www.PureLoveForPets.com on or about July 12, 2012.

PRIZES: GRAND PRIZES (6): Six (6) Grand Prize winners will each receive $5,000.00 awarded in the form of a check made payable to the Entrant. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each Grand Prize: $5,000. FIRST PRIZES (6): Six (6) First Prize winners will each receive a one-year supply of Purina® brand Pet Food, awarded in the form of twelve (12) coupons, each redeemable for one (1) free bag of Purina® brand Pet Food, up to $25 (any size, any variety). ARV of each First Prize: $300. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $31,800.
