They should fit in the front with an adapter, but 6x9's fit better in the back.

I have an '03 Corolla and I think '02s are built the same but check on Crutchfield.com. Crutchfield told me 5.25" fits the front but I think most definitely 6.5" fit there as there was plenty of slop room once you remove the stocks.

In the back, the cut outs are custom for the stock 6x9" speakers but you'll have to drill some holes for after market speakers to mount them. 6.5" will fit in the back but there will be some slop room (empty space where the larger 6x9 would be).

And yeah, $15 a pair.

I got these last time when they were $20. MSRP was $80 at the time. They are pretty good if you are replacing stock. This was perfect for me because space was tight and I was able to bend the edges inward to fit it into a little less than 6.5" size door hole.
