Lawn Mower

I am looking for my 1st lawn mower. i would prefer to go green. Electric Mower [amazon.com] would be ideal for me. Budget is around $200 or so. yard size is .25 acre - 1650 sq ft. review on this one is great.
would this be a good mower for me or is there anything else out there. i do have a little slope twds the front

ohh the house is 1650 sq ft. the lot is 110ft long by 90ft wide.

Agreed. It's like having a workout while actually getting work done. We have a Brill that has been great.

I third this. The extension cable is a massive PITA IMO. Only drawback to a push mower is you need to stay on top of it and if it gets too long it can be a bitch to mow!

Where do you live wendy? If in southern California, some cities/gov agencies offers electric lawnmowers for like 160-200$ through black and decker or neutron. All you have to do is bring in/scrap a gas one (craigslist/yardsale/flea market). Doesnt even have to be working (just as long as it looks like it)

My yard is about 6,000 SF. One charge will complete the job. You just have to learn the limitations of it. Avoid cutting really low when the grass is really tall and wet. Otherthan that you just have to adjust your habits.
