Ok, I did a search and didn't see this posted! Tired of playing the YMMV game and driving from each store to check for a clearance price? Well, Best Buy has CHANGED the Clearance game!

1. Go here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspa...&type=page

2. Search your area Best Buys

3. Click the store name for the one you want to search.

4. On the left hand side a little bit down the page you will see links for the following:

Home
Store Info
Open Box Items
Clearance Items
News & Announcements.

5. Click your open box or clearance items(whichever one you want to see.)

It will only show what that store currently has on clearance, as well as pricing. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to order online for pickup or tell you the inventory.

Sorry if this is a repost or should be in Deal talk....Just something I noticed today while browsing my local stores hours and figured it would save gas and time for people!

VIEW PRICE IN STORE = Use best buy app or m.bestbuy.com to check price.

3 things you have to know.. since this seems to be something new for some of you guys...

#1 just because they say they have it that does not mean they do.. you still have to drive there to find out..
#2 just because it show its on clearance does not mean it will ring up.. be prepared to show them the website.. talking with managers and so on..
#3 If store A has it on clearance and store B does not.. there is still a chance it on clearance and in stock at store B..
#4 Clearance prices vary, go to a store A (out of stock) with the lowest price and ask the blue shirt to have the item shipped in from store B (in stock).
If you find a really good deal post it YMMV and show the link from your store.. it will not make the front page but you will help a few people out..

Old news, but I'm sure this will be helpful to a few people here. Also, if the item is listed for that store, they have at least one in stock, open box might be YMMV on stock, since sometimes the staff forgets to update tags and a new one is printed manually, which means it doesn't get taken out of inventory.

YMMV on this, but my BB was handing out $25 off open box camcorder coupons.

Just FYI, these are more than likely innacurate. They update these usually on a weekly basis, at least my store does....

Yes, not only reposted many times and many people confirmed the information is out of date.

Yea, old news. But the problem is that a lot of the prices and items are way out of date

Most items are saying "see store" while the rest are 5-10bucks off new/retail price. anyone been able to get a decent deal from these? might not be even worth driving to store to see what the prices are....

Yeah most of us SDers already know about the clearance section on their website. Let me save you lots of trouble. There is never anything good on there. Not saying that after 300 days of looking every single day you may find one thing. But I sure as hell aint wasting 300 days of looking to find one item.
