Lol I guess I'm the only one that found Doug annoying.. I'd watch the reruns when I couldn't fall asleep sometimes... The other characters were ok, but couldn't stand Doug/Kevin James... Same with Everybody loves Raymond.. I couldn't stand Ray Romano.. But the other characters were ok

Because tv cuts the hell out of it. TVland is the worst. They cut large segments out of the show, and cut off jokes. Some even having to do with the plot.

A few examples of cut material off the top of my head.

The one where Doug tries to get Carey a friend. When Jerry Still shows Doug the woman moving in, it cuts out where Stiller messes up the "o'clocks" directional and Doug getting pissed at him.

Also, the gynecologist one, they chopped off the end where the crazy gyno calls Carey at night.

They play 4 episodes a night, but one episode is stretched to fill 40 odd minutes, to fit more commercials in it. It's painful to watch, but between 11 and 1 am (depending on the night), there isn't much else on.

I would buy this... but I think all the seasons are up on youtube already.

Anyone cares about firsthand experience. The entire cast are the friendliest people going. I met them all on the set when they filmed at Shea Stadium in NY and each one of them went out of their way to show their human side.

The episode where Doug had 3 wives with Holly for cooking, one for sports stuff and his wife to holler at the neighborhood kids lmao. And Deacon or one his buddies tried to steal Holly away

Also the one where they had the Koos Koos (small little squishy thing they were throwing around) makes me laugh. I cant remember the specifics but I just remember LoLing.

There are more great ones just cant remember off the top of my head

Agreed. I was lucky enough to visit the set and attend a live taping once. The cast was extremely nice. I didn't get to meet Jerry Stiller though, but wish I had.

Best show ever. Was so sad when the series finale aired.

I'd get the series set at this price but I already have all the seasons.

Maybe that was it, but not even just the times when she was "chunky" or "fat." There was a pretty long period (I think towards the end) when she just looked horrible. There were the "husky" periods, but also periods when she just looked really run down, overly tan, and maybe had some work done to her face (botox, lip injections, etc)? I now call those the "Jersey Shore" days!
