Any games I can understand?

I used to play PC games years ago, but they have all gotten too complicated for me.

I still play "Masters of Orion" and have enjoyed "Civilization III", but found "Masters of Orion2" and "CivilizationIV" too complicated.

Any suggestions for games that might work better than MO and CIII, but be simple enough that I can figure out how to use them?

This game exist a long time ago but was revive on facebook and is now more interesting. They put some power ups on it and you may battle with your friends and relatives. The ranking features makes you wanted to play it over and over again.

Company of Heroes is quite complicated for an RTS. I vote against.

Half-Life 2 or Portal - they're not gay little Age of Sims Rollercoaster Tycoon: Tiberium Wars management games, however they manage to be simple while not being simplistic and still hold up visually as well...mindless but not mind-numbing, if that makes any sense. Regardless, I made an alliance with Ol' Scratch himself that Civ IV would be the LAST game of it's genre I would ever play...

I loved those games. I wish those types of games would make a comeback on the mobile market but everyones more interested in bejeweled, or angry birds, or whatever the hell the kiddies play these days.

You might give Galactic Civilizations a go, or its RTS brother Sins of a Solar Empire. Or Alpha Centauri, although it's getting pretty long in the tooth.
