why not?

class 10 is the highest class rating that exists.

UHS-I is supposed to be faster.

They are two different bus types. But I guess a card can be multi bus. Oh well.

edit: to clarify, C10 is high speed bus interface and UHS is (as the name suggests) ultra high speed bus interface. I'm guessing they have always been marketed this way and I just never noticed.

well, it has to be backwards compatible. otherwise this card would only be compatible with like a dozen products out there.

yes yes, this makes sense. I've not bought any UHS cards because I don't have anything that supports it, but knowing that highspeed supported devices can use these UHS-I cards is good to know. That clears things up.

It wouldn't "choke" but it would definitely take longer for the buffer to fill (than, say, an Extreme). I believe it's something along the lines of almost double the performance (if you were to shoot 10 RAW+JPEG images, it would take maybe ~25 sec to fully flush the buffer, vs 14 sec with an Extreme)

I thought Class 10 just meant 10MB/s minimum sequential write performance?

I knew UHS-I was a bus (either 104mhz or 208mhz, with speeds up to 50MB/s-100MB/s)
