I grabbed the 42" RCA Plasma from Best Buy last night or I would have seriously considered this. With all the banter about quality though, I'm a bit glad I didn't have to debate. I have such commitment issues...
Went down to $341 at my local Target. Since Wal-Mart didn't honor the RCA deal a few days ago, me and the wife bought this TV.
Compared to my 32 inch Vizio LED downstairs the colors seem fine, and quality seems fine. We use the 360 on the TV watching netflix and playing games and I don't notice any difference to be honest compared to the Vizio downstairs. If this lasts 4 or 5 years I would be content for the price, because by then I'm sure there will be some sort of other TV out on the market that grabs our attention.
For the price I would say It's pretty damn impressive. If I could find a Samsung, Sony or Sharp LED under $500, and in the store vs having it shipped then I might have not gotten the Element.
Oh and yeah It's made in China. Says right on the box.
Walked into my local target today and saw this TV on clearance for $329.98. I decided to pick it up since it was the last model, but can't decide if I should keep this or not?? Lots of mixed reviews online...and plenty talking about the tv dying out after a few months-1yr.
