Much respect for Cali residents, enduring wildfires and the smoke thru these years.

Here near Phila, PA, along with NYC, we are in the unhealthiest air I've ever seen.

It's coming down with the jet stream; following the I95 Corridor now.

IQ Air, puts some above 200 - 300 on the dangerous levels, for air quality.

Again, respect for Cali residents who endure this.

I've been coughing for days... now that the sun is hazed out a bit and the temps dropped I was too tempted to keep the windows open all day and even at night. As someone with asthma and allergies I do know better but..... Yeah waking up with a bad headache that lasts more than 24 hours sucks. Keeping doors and windows shut again :/

Hired goats are under threat in California because their herders might be fired at any moment. Now how the good people of California will keep the brushfires under control?

I never open my windows. Especially this time of year. I don't want the pollen coming in.

Everyone I know with asthma, has headaches from the Smokey conditions.

We hit 464 on the AQI in Eastern PA (Lehigh Valley) a few days ago

Yes, I saw that. I'm between Phila & Trenton; we hit the high numbers as well.

The weekend has been great; nice low numbers.

To add insult to injury…I95 north and south bound is down due to a tanker fire. Northbound lanes completely collapsed. Southbound lanes compromised. Talk about a traffic nightmare. It will be months before they reopen this.
I have an airport run the 3rd week of this month. Guess I'm taking the Jersey side down to one of the bridges to cross back over.
Tomorrow should be frightful for people going either way for work.
