Some people may not understand the nature of this "deal"... the previous model was a runaway success, this camera has been widely anticipated, and most places are back-ordered at least till June. To find any seller that says "Yes, we have this in stock at list price, we can ship now(for free), and we are a certified canon dealer(so your warranty will be good)" is a rare find. It's true that this is a lot to pay for a camera, but you won't see this one discounted for at least a year, I'd wager - Canon keeps the prices pretty tightly controlled, and if you do find a discounted one, it's probably from a "fell off the truck" kind of joint. Read the reviews for it at B&H, this camera is worth it. If you were on the fence, now is the time to pounce. Someone you trust is one of us.

New 5D3s with serial #s 3 will start trickling in. Those have been fixed. These are guaranteed to have serials 1 or 2, so beware. I returned my 5D3 to Amazon this week because of this. Waiting for new stock. It's not that the light leak issue is really serious, but cameras with serial #s 1 and 2 will be scrutinized in the future when you unload your 5D3 for a new camera.
