Do not buy this product, I bought 2 and they always have problems. After RMA I still have problems with it even with a different DSLR. Switched to Lexar Compact and never had any problem. Beware and stay away from Kingston

Whew..Ty for heads up....I like sandisk and Lexar myself....sometimes will try these cheaper ones if price is right and don't hear any complaints about em...Ty again! |

Be very wary of B&H reviews. There are a number of examples on the camera forums where people have reported having their submitted negative reviews reworded by B&H into positive reviews. Doesn't make the product bad, or B&H not a good store to buy form, but take the reviews with a hefty grain of salt.

CF cards -- just like hard drives -- have failure rates relative to their production dates nearly regardless of vendors. |

you guys make it sound like Kingston is some no name crappy brand. They are a well known memory company. There are plenty of anecdotes about sandisk failures too.

I own 4 Kingston Elite Pro cards - 2 8gigs and 2 16gigs
Out of all my cards, 1 card went bad because I accidentally pulled the Card out of the card reader before ejecting it. I believe all Memory cards are prone to having this happen. I also own Many Sandisk CF cards and a few Sony brands and have never had this happen to me. (I've pulled memory cards out of devices prematurely many times )I guess Kingston Cards are easier to damage. |

Never had errors on video either....then again the longest video shot with my 7D was probably 10 minutes max. |
