I did as this poster did. If you still have an outstanding online order from 4/29 and you haven't called them yet, call them. That's the only way you're going to get it. Big kudos to Microcenter for honoring the orders. I know some got cancelled but it looks like most of us got them in the end. |

I ended up getting the 3570-K and the ASUS P8Z77-V Pro. What a gnarly combo! 4.2ghz out of the box.

I have MSDN so I already have Win 7 x64. At this point just use and older OS and wait for Win 8. |

My backup computer has win 7 pro 64, but my new system doesn't have an os at the moment. |

Picked up the 3570k and Asrock Pro4-M today. Anyone want to sell their copy of Win 7 Pro 64??? Just need that, a htpc case and psu.

I threw linux mint on mine with the ASROCK extreme4, and I was blown away by the ease of installation and the quality of that OS. If you are looking at a HTPC, seriously look at l Iinux mint.
In the end, I needed Magic jack, Plex, and Tonido drive, and I couldn't get the first 2 working on Mint. Just got my Raid array setup, and am digging these Ivy Bridge procy's at this price!! |
