Sorry...your wrong. I've gotten all my recent new cars at what most used few year old models were going for. Difference is, I knew from day 1 how it was driven and exactly the maintenance and parts put into it.

Used cars are a gamble...sometimes you win..sometimes you lose. When dealing with thousands of dollars...I like to skew the odds in my favor.

If I got it around 2300 OTD and my monthly payment is about $125. Give or take some on both numbers. Given that I went to the 4 dealers in my area to get the best price and I did some major haggling and the dealers were willing to compromise because its the end of the month.

Honda Accord is a great car before 2000.

According to carcomplaints.com, the early 2000 models (2000-2005) had transmission failure, 2007-2010 Accords suffered from premature brake wear, and 2008-2011 models had the cost-down, poorly designed seats that gave people back pain from driving. 2008 4-cyl. model also had various engine problems (thought VTEC has been around for a long time - how can they screw up that bad?)

Hopefully the next thing they come up with to screw up has easy fix before I drive my 96 accord to the ground (180k and not much driving in the past couple of years).

way wrong on the tranny failures, it was 98-2002, but thanks for trying.

whoa..almost $1000 for dealer fees? Isn't that high?

to give you an idea of how good a deal this is, I have just one car for my wife and I....we do 22,000 miles a year on it. Even if we leased this car and prepaid for the extra 10,000 miles a year we do, it'd still clock in at $192 a month plus tax. Thats insane.

Yeah that includes title, doc, honda collection fee(or something like that). Out the door. But yes some dealers might be lower.

FYI - New Accord is due out soon. Honda releases special editions a year or two before a redesign to keep sales up.

You can still get this. Print it out and take it to your honda dealer. That is what my brother did in Newington CT. and they gave it to him.

why do people think that "no hdmi" and "shipping/tax kills deal" jokes are still funny?
