Use Sony's 'MediaRemote' app on your iPhone, navigation is so much more easier using the iPhone. Searches made easy via your phone keyboard.

For everyone wondering about what this plays, I have owned it for a year (bought it for $115 so this is a great deal) it has rejected maybe 5-6 videos out of hundreds ive played via USB all in either avi or mkv and x264.
The biggest "con" of the player is the built-in apps. Hulu Plus and Netflix are kinda hard to navigate and its easier to set your queue on a computer and then watch what you want on the TV. Id also recommend the Sony Media Remote app for Android (if you have an Android phone), it helps ALOT.
As for the 3D, dont have a 3d tv unfortunately but everything looks great on 42" 1080p machine I have here. The player itself is fast, and the Wi-Fi never craps out (sometimes in Netflix it DOES slow down though, possibly some type of ISP throttling, not sure). Overall very happy with this machine at double the price its available here.

Ordered 1 for $63.74.. Should work nicely with the open box Panasonic 46" 3D Plasma I got from Target last week for $350+tax.
