I've seen people jumping the fence in both directions. |

So I jumped on this last night and then I remembered that my wife told me all major purchases need to go through her. Bummer. Emailed Adorama in the morning and it's already too late to cancel.
I wonder if I'll be able to sell it for $1200 new in-box in Fresno. I've looked, and while there aren't a lot of people selling this camera here in the Central California Valley, most were more expensive than that and were used. Also, I didn't order the printer. Does anyone know if I can order the printer separately and still get the rebate? I didn't see anything where they had to be on the same ticket. Can anyone confirm? |

![]() Explain to the wife lady that this camera will better your vacation photos and videos. For $1,200 you can't go wrong. You're both going to love it. |

2nd question to all you camera experts... i'm itching for a new camera and my choices are either a Nikon D7000 or a Canon 7D. Would someone please be kind enough to tell me why I should go with one over the other? Many thanks in advance! Russ _________________________________

The only reason I which brands was because a good friend of mine had an arsenal of Canon Lens that I wanted to barrow. I ended up purchasing my own library of lens which I currently have. With that said: One of the main differences I noticed between both cameras that many people don't talk about are the two camera's color metering and processing chips. Nikon captures and processes photos like it has Photoshop built in. Photos come out bright, vivid, and somewhat saturated. Canon's color processor captures more natural and "true" colors which require more processing in order to match Nikon shots. Now: your typical, everyday consumer will most likely be attracked to what Nikon offers. Who doesn't want an overly saturated and vibrant photo to post on their Facebook page? I prefer to process and tweak my photos myself. I'm a bit more of a novice when it comes to photo retouching so many times I recommend Nikon cameras to people who don't want to spend a lot of time adjusting their photos. It's all about understanding the capabilities of both brands and seeing which camera fits your interests and your budget. Hope this helps. |
