DRM-free?

Watch the baud rate. Last time I used eMusic it was a max of 180bps. Yuck!

Do gift cards have DPCI numbers? If so, is there one listed on your recepit please?

I have used e-music before and I don't recall the downloads being slow at all........then again I have 25meg DL speed. I will say check out the emusic website before biting on this deal. If you are disciplined, and do it for only this deal, it may be a good thing. While some songs are 49 cents, others are like $1.29 or something.......at least they used to be. They typically also offer like a $20 sign-up credit as well, but as OP said they will require a credit card. I don't believe you have to agree to anything past the first month. However, I also believe they have different membership plans depending per month, and if you don't use that amount in any month, they at least didn't carry over to the next. As with any similar program, just make sure you know what you are signing up for. IIRC, they didn't always have real recent songs either. It worked for me for a few months, and I had no problem canceling once I began that process, but I am not sure you get a pro-rated refund if you cancel once billed. Sorry I have more questions than answers.........lol.

Since this is an "as-is" product, the POS system has deleted its entry. If you try to scan the UPC, it will say "Product not found." I don't have a DPCI, sorry about that. It doesn't show up on the receipt nor the as-is tag. The guy I spoke to at checkout said that it didn't exist on his handheld POS device. In other words, YMMV, but the cards do work.
