Garage floor tile sale @ Costco $100/pack of 48 tiles ($2.08/sq-ft) free shipping

Do people typically install this on the entirety of their floor (I.e. under shelving). I have wanted to do this in garage for years, but never pull trigger.

Wish they had red. I guess I would go black and white.

nice to do a makeover for my garage. is it easy to apply? just glue 'em?

I think it looks better if you cover the entire floor and have your garage items on top of the flooring. but some people do install just where the car sits. in the end, it's a personal preference. you might want to look at the racedeck gallery to see what other people's garage looks like with this stuff. here's a link http://www.racedeck.com/ ; go to the garage gallery.

even better, just a rubber mallet is all you need to "tap" these together. no glue necessary, it will install as a floating floor. that's what makes it also easy to repair... if you accidentally try to weld something onto your flooring, you can just remove the damaged tiles and replace them. if you anticipate you might need to cut some tiles to fit them against the walls, you'll probably want a miter saw too, but that's about all the tools you need. these are easy DIY projects.

Interesting. I assume that water goes in between the tiles. Would there be an issue with mold from water being under the tiles for a long period of time? I live in Seattle and the car usually goes in the garage wet 9-10 months per year.

lol, I detect tht your REAL point here was to brag that you have a garage nearly as big as some people's house. Well, kudos, I guess. You could literally park 6-9 cars in your garage.

I confess, I don't see the point to these. Some peopel are more into treating grages like living spaces than me, lol. I looked at them more for possible use in my basement, but I don't think tehy are appropriate three. Probaly better would be something rubber/anti-fatigue. Also not sure how these would do where floor was not completely flat (on one plane -- actually, anyone with a settled crack in their garage may do well to consider that)
