IF a parent is watching to make sure the enclosure is used properly, they help. Almost every call was when the parents weren't home though. Just because your kids know better doesn't mean their friends will listen. Or they may just decide to use it when no one is home. It's just one of the things to think about, but every decision has pros and cons.
As far as it blowing away, flip it over during heavy wind and weigh it down. The final straw on having them banned on Ft Richardson was when someone didn't and it damaged 3 cars and a housing unit. I'd consider using some sort of in ground anchor or something rather just just sand bags. |
