just got an email saying that my ordered is cancelled!! LAME

good call -- my paypal status for this says "pending"

So freakin' lame!

Now, wait for a little while and watch them get back in stock. Only lame merchants resort to such cancellations and state some random "policy" when asked why the order was not put on backorder instead.

Cancelled. Just like I will cancel anything else Sony related in the future.

Ya... this was my first experience shopping with them... Not impressed at all. Especially with the way it was handled. Wait 5 days, BS customer service responses to those who called, and then a famously VAGUE email.

At least they notified us of a sale that is already ongoing, where we can save 20% on laptops.

Because I REALLY want to go spend my money with them. [sarcasm]

Yeah... I asked them why it was cancelled and they said before it is out of stock and SOLO discontinued this bag. I really wanted to call BS on that cause I have seen it in other places. I asked them straight up if it was because of the price mistake and the CS adamantly denied that.
Right after that, I called and cancelled my Sony credit card account which I have had for the past 10 years. They wanna cancel my order, I will cancel my business with them.

Good job! With the inventory software these days, there is no reason why anyone should allow us to order and get our orders cancelled. Their website sucks as well which is a terrible sign.

Mine got cancelled too... anyone know of a place to get a comparable bag for similar price?

damn... i just got the cancellation e-mail today. figured that it took so long without receiving it that my bag might actually ship.
