For the same price get the Neato vX-11 it soooooo much better, I had every gen of irobot stopped at 500 series. This cleans much better and dosent bump into objects.

Yep, I'd go with the Neato. I own an Neato and a Roomba.

Navigation: Roomba bumps and feels its way around the room. Neato sees and navigates the room. Neato always finds its way back to the base.

Cleaning: Roomba is a sweeper with brushes. Neato is a true vacuum (sounds like a jet when in runs).

Design: Neato wins with a simple, effective dirt bin that's easy to empty. Roomba gets junk and hair trapped in its roller-sweepers and has a dirt filter that spills every time I open the thing.

The Roombas dirt bin is easy to empty too...

I have a 530 refurb from Woot and I have no issues with it.

What's a good price for a Neato, and where would you look for deals for them?

I'm a long time Roomba user myself, but would love to try the Neato next.

How are these things with long pet hair? Crossing my fingers that the dog don't poop inside
