Lexmark X2670 All-In-One Printer $19.99 with free store pickup

Decent price, but 16 out of 31 Amazon reviews are 1-star, which makes me a bit nervous (http://www.amazon.com/Lexmark-X26...ewpoints=1).

i definitely second Lockettlures. ink/cartridges are soo expensive, its probably always a better idea to buy the printer from deals like this one and throw it away when its out of ink.

Stay away from lexmark. If you don't use brand name ink, you get an error message every time you try to print. There's a hassle every time you load a new cartridge where you have to print then scan the page. My lexmark takes one Black and one color cartridge. They are $12 for generic or $20-25 on ebay for the brand name. I just bought a new canon all in one printer and am dumping my lexmark when the ink runs out.

For $20, as a disposable printer and one to take in for the $50 discounts when Trade-Ins are on, I would be in for 1. Unfortunately, no Sears close to me has any left in stock.

I was about to purchase to use and dispose, but trading in after use is a great idea. Repped.

I have a Lexmark and a Canon all-in-one. I haven't used generic ink cartridge so I can't say much about that. But what I found is, Canon color ink dry-out even when I don't print in color. I don't have this issue with Lexmark. Additionally, when the Canon runs out of color ink, I can't print at all (even in black). Whereas the Lexmark will allow me to print by selecting "Complete-a-Print" to print in black/white. These issues can be model specific.

My Lexmark have a 5 yrs warranty. It failed to turn on after a little over 3 years. I gave them a call, they sent me a new one without any hassle. I have to say I'm very impress with their support and would be their loyal customer.

When you buy OEM stuff, you can't put the fault on the Lexmark. Maybe the OEM part you got is no good. Maybe it was defective. Try buying it from a different manufacturer. I'll try OEM ink the next time I need a replacement. $12 buck sounds good to me.

I've owned lexmark printers and i can't find any issue withe quality of the printer or printing, what i will say is that their ink prices are really high. You're literally better off buying 10 of these and throwing each one away when the including ink runs out, you'll end up saving more money.
