I've gotten two free burritos so far with double meat... I didn't get guac... let alone "extra" guac.

Double meat and guac should never be a problem. The way the system works is that the cashier has to press the 'Spec 1' button and it will automatically comp the entire food item (burrito in this case), even if they add on the extra charges. So if the extra guac is listed on the side then I can see why it's not comped. At least, that is my layman's understanding with every Chipotle free promo since wayyyyy back in the day

Not so clever. Possibly even stupid.

A) He got $26.55.
B) After fees (eBay + PayPal) that's $22.06.
C) Subtract another $0.45 for the postage to ship it.
D) So his net, ignoring his time, is $21.61
E) He just paid $8.39 for that "free" burrito.
F) He has to deal with the potential for scammage/issues. These are fairy common with gift cards, and you frequently lose.
G) He has to waste his time posting the auction and sending off the GC.

How could the person building your burrito deny you? They don't know how you're going to pay for the burrito until you get to the cashier at which point you give them the receipt.

Another way of quickly using up chipotle gift cards is if you regularly order chipotle for lunch at work, get a group order going and take charge of collecting the money. Pay with the gift card and pocket the money you collect.

I've done this deal at about 10 stores and only once there was a problem. They wanted to charge for guac but manager said it was OK. Double meat hasn't been a problem.

It wasnt with this promo, i was paying with cash. I asked for extra guac and she said " we dont give extra guac".
