last week
just ordered a cuisinart food processor and salad preserver box thing last week... hope they will do a 20% refund so I don't have to go through the trouble of shipping them back and re-ordering.EDIT: chatted with a rep, they ended up sending a 20% credit to my account as a promotional credit applied on my next order. Better than nothing! I'm not even sure if they verified that I ordered with an Amazon Visa credit card, since I would only benefit with this 20% if I were to order with an Amazon Visa. promo site says it's for one time use only thru May 7... so yeah you can add as many as you want in your cart as long as it's eligible...
i was searching for threads on this as i was about to post this deal.. finally got the Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 5-1/2-Cup (Uncooked) Neuro Fuzzy Rice Cooker and Warmer, Premium White -- these things don't go on sale too often Last edited by jdeej777; 05-01-2012 at 02:20 PM.. I think you will see the 20% eligibility offer on the Kitchen and Dining purchase item page if the item is eligible.
Best for the items that are closely price controlled like high end espresso machines, blenders. china etc. I think I will go for a Breville "Smart" appliance....oven, tea maker, or double boiler espresso. |

Bumme r- Friday I bought an expensive Le Creuset I have been coveting for years (on my Amazon Rewards Card) and I got the code in my email today. I chatted with customer service to see if they could apply my discount but since it had "already shipped" Amazon was only willing to give me less than 8% back. I was nice about it but said I might as well send it back and buy another at the discounted price. He said he'd forward my request to the sales and marketing team. We'll see. I'll send it back if I have to.
PS I generally get GREAT deals from SD - thanks OP and others who said to try to get it "grandfathered". |

They also offer 'special' financing, sometimes, although I'm not sure if that's limited to only one flavor of their cards or not (they seem to have three different cc cards). SIx months, interest free, if you spend over $200 in a particular category, for example. I got Amazon's Visa Rewards card, a couple of months back. The interest rate is only slightly higher than my no-frills bank MC, for when I need to carry a balance, plus there's the benefit of Amazon points. I use the Visa now, everywhere I would have used my debit card, as well as my cc, and I just transfer funds every couple of days, to pay off the purchases as I make them. No interest that way AND Amazon points
I do not pay for shipping. Consider it your privilege to serve me!
