Authorities say a Washington mother repeatedly put bleach into her toddler daughter's eyes, causing permanent vision loss in child's right eye, Q13 Fox reports.
29-year-old Jennifer Mothershead pled not guilty to charges of first-degree child assault Monday.
Authorities say Mothershead was given antibiotics and eye drops in March 2011 for her toddler daughter after the child came to a local hospital with an eye issue. Mothershead told doctors her daughter had scratched her eye while playing in a barn, according to Q13 Fox.
Authorities claim Mothershead's then-14-month-old daughter was airlifted to the hospital with a serious head injury in May 2011. Authorities grew concerned when Mothershead reportedly had no explanation for what had happened.
That's nothing [figuratively speaking] compared to what Tessa Vanvlerah did to her 5 month old daughter. And the guy got a shorter sentence.
My theory is that for centuries mentally ill folks, deviants, and even serial killers have had countless children who also had children and it's finally catching up to us. Mother's killing their babies, that kid who stabbed his own grandmother for making him come home early from a party, the local Josh Powell case where he blew up himself and his children, etc...
There's laws in most states allowing you to marry your first cousin but some forbid you to have kids. You cant get a gun permit if you've been involuntarily committed in a mental hospital or psych ward. You can have kids though, no matter how much mental illness runs in your family.
I'm not the sharpest tool in the thread.

*Medical problems affecting my words are back. Sometimes may not use the right word or may not make sense at all.
Crazy people could do everything that an evil people could do. That is why there are clinics or hospitals to treat them. That is why they have medicines that they need to take regularly. If a crazy person was able to do an evil thing, then it is somebody else's fault. Her family should take responsibility for whatever a crazy person will do.
You didn't answer the question. Whenever someone does something really bad, people will say they are crazy. Like, is it not possible to do something really really bad without being crazy? Like, if you're gonna do something wrong, you might as well go all the way and do something really wrong, that way (according to you) you can say "Oh well, I'm crazy, someone elses fault, lol"
