2 AMC tix + $50 restaurant.com for $25

This is my first deal so pardon any mistakes. I did check to make sure this wasn't already posted.

collegebudget.com has 2 AMC movie theater tickets and $50 in gift certificates to restaurant.com (many restaurants use this site), all for $25. With AMC prices these days, its basically getting the $50 restaurant.com gift certificate for the cost of two movie tickets.

collegebudget.com requires you to register with a valid .edu email address.

Counterpoint: Restaurant.com is a great service and I use them all the time without any issues.

This deal is pretty lukewarm like someone said, but it's still a decent deal if you're going to buy an r.com certificate and are going to see a movie regardless.

The problems I have had with restaurant.com are as follows:

Restaurants will be listed on the website but when you get there there is sign saying they no longer accept the certificates. It's frustrating to check the website and then be told no at the restaurant

When restaurants DO accept the certificates they have been putting more stipulations on them thats not listed on the certificate itself.. for example.. one restaurant said I could only use my certificate if I order 2 drinks.. another told me they don't accept them on the weekends really? are you kidding me?

I have had a really hard time getting my money back from restaurant.com for restaurants that no longer accept the certificates..
