Awesome deal if you can the price and rebate. This is the new "can play about anything" budget card. I'll keep my 180$ amazon 6950 for now, but if I was in the market, this would be my card based on reviews, price, power consumption.
700 Total SSD's handled between two jobs. Plextor M3s, M5s, Crucial M4s, Intel 320s, and Samsung 470/830s are reliable. 2 M4 failure among ~200 of them. Sandforce Sata II controlled drives, 6 RMAs among ~175 units. There, now you know why I post like I do, professional, personal experience.

If you want to upgrade that 6970. A 7950 is the answer. It has a best price/performance in the high end; matching 7970 and 680 when oc'd for the most part. I'd wait a few more months though. |

 As for playability, my HD 5850 ran the game on max at 1080p resolutions. I am looking to upgrade and was thinking about this card, but I just can't pay this price for this brand. I'm sure others may have had good experiences, but I'll stick with the brands I know and trust. |
