Isn't the laptop dock just keyboard/screen/battery and all the brain power comes from the phone?

The description says 1GB ram & 1GHz in a way that sounds the laptop dock have the memory and processor.

I have the same question. It seems to imply that this lapdock has a processor inside which renders the graphics and more. Anyone know the truth here? I'll google it for my own info

I know it does nothing without the phone. The ATRIX has 2GB ram but the phone uses just 1GB while when connected to the dock a custom Ubuntu Linux runs on the other 1GB.

I am not positive, but I think that they CPU comes from the phone, the larger LCD has its own battery and I think maybe an extra 1 GB of memory.
