You get a valid receipt, an estimated ship date and then suddenly 6 weeks later you get this message from out of nowhere, "We no longer will carry this item, we no longer have the item in stock and you will not be receiving your item. Merry Christmas from Best Buy." Their inventory management system is absolutely the worst. Hopefully, this time will be different.

The items were only available online. The in store inventory stock checker showed nothing within 50 miles. Each time, the items showed as being avilable for shipping and a confirmation e-mail was sent yet 3 times in a row, they cancelled the orders days/weeks later due to inventory problems. Waiting until 48 hours before Christmas to send out messages that, "oops, we screwed up, we don't have the items and never will" when you ordered the merchandise 4-6 weeks earlier doesn't leave you with a lot of options unfortunately.
