Let me start the PSN vs XBL arguement...

I've had a 360 for about 5 years and got sick of paying for live.. About a year ago I bought a PS3 simply for the free Netflix since I hardly played any games online anymore... A year later i went back to the 360 and am gladly paying for live.. The PS3s interface both for the Netflix and GUI just plain sucks! I just hated using that thing and also hated how i couldn't control it with my RF Harmony Remoe without having an adapter.. But even with the Bluetooth to RF adapter you're not able to turn the thing on without having to use the actual PS3 remote..

I tried liking the PS3 GUI and its online service but it was just too slow and messy compared to the 360.. It was probably because I started off with the 360 first and got use to its GUI.. But even still many PS3 owners know that the 360 online service and GUI is much more superior than the PS3s.. So for now i'll stick with my live.. I went on a family plan with my kid, nephew and brother so we all just have to pay $25 a year for it.. Technically less with a little loophole we got..

if this is true then I just save $1 from not signing up for the 1 month for $1 deal again

same here, started with 360 as well though so maybe we are a bit bias, my ps3 mostly collects dust, i only use it for blurays even though its modded to play "backups".

I have both systems as well. I don't think anyone would argue that Xbox Live is superior to PSN. However, for some people they would deal with the lack of sparkle or easy of use in order to not pay between $29.99 to $49.99 per year for XBL. I list those prices because you can always find a 1 year membership somewhere in that range and the family plan is not practical for most individual users.

Anyway, the free month of XBL is a nice deal.

i agree, i was a ps3 fanboy but i can see why people love xbox so much, i never play mp except for uncharted on psn cuz its actually decent but everything else runs like crap. im still gonna say ps3 has more superior single player games while xbox is great for the multiplayer stuff.
