No incentive to preorder.
The preorder bonus for Call of Duty: Black Ops II kind of sucks. It's just a link to download some wallpaper. It's not like the game will sell out. Game prices have been dropping so fast lately. Seems like within weeks or months of the release dates of game the prices fall $10 - $20. The release dates for the other games doesn't seem right. December 31, 2013? Is that right? |

This is COD you're talking about- it will hold price for several months just like the have since Modern warefare was released. Might be some deals right at release, but I doubt it...MW3 had 1 deal before black friday, black ops had none, MW2 none...
Everything is complicated when you first look at it. Complicated things always break down into simplier parts. Simple things are easy to fix when you understand how stuff works. The trick is remembering how everything works.

The release/hype cycle is so predictable, it's not even fun to mock them any more. Release a game in November, wait six months, start hyping the next game to be released in November. Rinse, repeat, ad infinitum. |
