Thanks OP. My wife says it will work for wheat grass so she gave me the green light to buy. Hope it works well...

Apparently, you need to combine with the fruits/veggie strainer attachment or something for wheatgrass juice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3yL7DMbWjA |

[QUOTE=Danzilla;49760192]REALLY? That STX grinder with it's own motor, a metal body, 3 different grinding plates and 3 cutting blades, all the sausage stuffing extras include, and a larger grinding plate/extruder area, still looks the same to you? Sounds like a psychological issue to me. You might want to get that checked... seriously. Obviously the STX costs a good bit more, but it's ridiculous to say it's the same as a plastic KA attachment that doesn't even come with it's own motor and will cost you $20 extra for little plastic sausage stuffing tubes?! I have the KA grinder that I bought on clearance and would love to upgrade to something like that STX... but I can't just seem to find a good enough excuse when I already do own the KA.
![]() yep, the funtional parts look almost exactly the same. maybe you should get your eyes checked. |

Tried doing a 'late' PM at Kohls. Got shot down right away:
Cashier: "You need to bring in a local ad from the store. We don't accept printed ads from the internet" Me: "Has it always been that way?" (knowing it has not) Cashier: "Yep. Anyone can print out something from Amazon and bring it in" Me: "That's exactly what I did at this location not too long ago" (per the Kitchenaid mixer deal). Cashier: "Well, they shouldn't have done that. They were wrong" Me: "Well, I contacted corporate because another Kohls store told me the same thing you're telling me. But Corporate said local ads aren't a restriction and stores are supposed to honor matching printouts" Cashier: "Mmm... no..." *I could tell this was going nowhere, quickly* Me: "Fine. I don't want this anymore" lol... seems like this store isn't as consistent as it was before on their PM policy. The last time I had issues with PMing at another Kohls in the area (during Christmas time), I got a hold of a employee who was willing to help me out and had no issues accepting PMs from online. So much so that she said I could buy an item that was only in-stock at the other store, bring it in, and she would adjust the price to honor my PM request (since the other store refused). I think it's YMMV based on who's working in the store. Seems there's a lot of variance. Last edited by jplee3; 05-03-2012 at 10:52 PM.. |
