I'll assume you just woke up from a 2 day sleep but target didn't have a clearance sale on kindles for the last 2 days so making a list of stores that didn't have a clearance sale on kindles in the last 2 days is the most ridiculous thing I've seen and to call it The Official Target Kindle Clearance Update List is a joke.

I understand what you're saying. I might even be inclined to agree with you. My only point was that at least this guy, however misguided he might be, is trying to do something that he thinks is helpful. You and I don't have to think it's helpful. We might think it's unhelpful. We might even think it's stupid or a joke, or a ridiculous thing to do. But, at least he, like you and I (and unlike so many lurkers) is trying to do something that he thought might be helpful. I cannot fault you for expressing you opinion that it is useless or inefficient, all I'm trying to suggest is that there are so many freeloaders (and worse) that we shouldn't beat up on this guy just because he is doing something we might not think is efficient or all that useful. He went out of his way to do something. That's a lot more/better than so many lurkers. I, for one, appreciate that he is willing to put out his effort -- even if it's not put in a very efficient manner. I appreciate it the same way as all the threads you've started. I appreciate all the people that help keep these forums going, by posting what they think are deals (not all of them turn out to be that) and putting their effort into what they think are useful posts and wikis (and, certainly not all turn out to be that, either). All I'm suggesting is that I appreciate anyone who selflessly gives their time to contribute to this site -- even if their effort winds up fruitless. I'm sure that by now he's realized that it is unnecessary. But, he couldn't have known that when he first started. Even if he could have, it doesn't bother me that much if he takes his time to this. Who am I to call him stupid. You've contributed a lot to these forums. I've contributed a little. I'm sure that like me, you couldn't possibly know for sure when you first post a thread how useful others will find it. But, you post it anyway in a generous spirit. You've generously taken your time and put your effort into starting a good number of threads and into writing some useful posts, on the assumption that because you thought it was a good idea, others might too. All I'm suggesting is that because Bears... thought this was a good idea, he started something. Maybe in hindsight it was unnecessary, but he couldn't have known that when he started. And even if he could have, or should have realized it earlier (meaning, even if you might have realized it earlier), it doesn't mean his intentions were bad. It seems to me that he has just been trying to contribute. And I say more power to him. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying to contribute out of fear that they might be ridiculed. That's all.

Now, I was just expressing my opinion. And I fully respect your right to your opinion -- especially given how much you have contributed to these forums. Frankly, you have started a good number of threads and contributed a lot of posts. I'm just saying...that's all...

I agree contributions are always great but by the time he joined this thread on page 60 it was already very evident this thread was a big mistake by the OP and then for him to argue that a list of this kind was necessary is foolish to say the least and not to mention just today he was posting "this deal is live" in the wiki.

News, I'm clearing out of Target and adding it to my list of places not to shop, I already had Orifice Depot and Waldomart and Albertscums on that list.

Maybe it is on deal at some locations, but a trip to the Clifton NJ store and a scan by the clerk, showed a price of $199. No deal here yet.
