![]() As in the other thread, I'll say that I went with the 11z combo that included the Samsung S2 320GB Portable External Hard Drive for a cool $287.62 with free shipping. Another option for those not in the market for a printer. http://neweggbusiness. I believe there's also an option to get RAM, a flash drive, and a mouse... |

Actually, there is one empty full mini card slot, for wwan/ broadband, gps, or tv tuner. You can upgrade if you want. I'm not sure this slot will accept msata for a ssd, if it does, that'll be awesome. Either way, this is a slick deal. You can find the user manual for detailed instructions on dells website, but there is no im101z yet, only for m101z. The only difference between the two is cpu : amd vs Intel, I think. Thanks op for the heads up. Last edited by angellsl; 05-02-2012 at 11:04 PM.. |

I couldn't get the code to work either, so I called in. They told me the code was supposed to be working. They were able to give me up to a $50 refund over the phone after I put the order through (I would have only saved $53 if the code had worked). I got the combo with the Microsoft Mouse for $358.99-$50 = $308.99

The i3 combined with the upgradeable RAM (stupid "ultra"books like the Folio 13 have non-upgradeable RAM soldered to the board...) makes this a clear value in my eyes. Just the sheer upgradeability in general, actually. I'm looking at the bundle that has the Arc Mouse, the extra 2GB stick of RAM, and the 16GB flash drive. It's $358.99. A coupon code to stack on top of that price would be killer. There's another page I found with the same iM101z laptop for $350, that also includes the message "Add $1 to get an ext. hard drive w/ combo, ends 5/30". I've no clue what that means / how you'd go about "adding an extra dollar" to your shopping cart / order. It almost seems like that description was phrased wrong. I'm also not sure which ext.(ernal, I assume, or "extra") hard drive would be included, though I'd hazard to guess the same one that's been bundled with this laptop all along. This is the page for that weird description, btw: http://www.neweggbusin I believe this is the combo page I came across that listed all of the various combos available for this laptop: http://promotions.newe I think the "Add $1 to get an ext. hard drive" was supposed to link to this (+320GB external hard drive for $350.99): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Com...mbo.90782 I've got lots (TBs) of backup external hard drives already, so a mere 320GB external isn't as appealing to me. I'd rather go with the extra accessories. |
